I came across this diner while I was at Sobeys and knew that I had to give it a try with my mother before we returned to Malaysia. Angel's Diner has a very retro design inside and makes you feel like you've travelled back in time to the 80s. Angel's claims to have the best ribs in town, but do they ?

Angel's Diner lives to their reputation of having the best ribs in town. The baby back pork ribs was served with a generous amount of bbq sauce. The ribs were moist and every bite was filled with the smoky bbq flavour. The chicken was tender and moist. Impressive indeed. As for the NY Sirloin Steak, it was seared nicely and held all the juice inside the meat. Also, very impressive. This is a diner that I would visit again and again. Their prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of their dishes. They also have a special menu for seniors and a variety of desserts.

Caesar Salad

Half Rack Ribs

 The caesar salad came in a reasonable portion but was on the dry side though. A little more dressing would be good. The steak was just as we requested, medium rare and juicy. On the other hand, the ribs came with too little sauce and made the ribs dry. The ribs were overcooked and was a disspointment. The ribs used to be very good last time though. Maybe I was just unlucky.
